After seeing tones of videos online showing how it’s done, I just had to jump unto the mirror nails craze. I’ve been to Summer Nails a few times after getting a recommendation from a friend who patronises her shop often.
After understanding my nails condition of it being very brittle and thin, Samantha was really nice to apply the gelish polish in a way so that it’ll last longer by adding on an additional layer + she used a different top coat for the mirror nails to prevent it from cracking.
Ps, this is NOT a sponsored post and I really wanted to share where I occasionally have my nails done while in Johor Bahru since the options are aplenty.
On a moisturizing note, I remembered this was a hand cream I had to get while shopping at the duty free area while at the airport. As both Mom and myself realised that none of us brought along any hand cream and to convince ourselves as to why this is a NEED rather than a want – since we were going to Korea which was turing cold and we’re going to be stuck in an airplane for a good amount of time. To put it simply, those non-existence excuses couldn’t make up for the really nice packing and it’s in a limited edition print! Girls need no reasons to shop…
I really enjoyed using this Too Cool For School’s lip crayon (Lost in Dinoplatz), so much that I am actually done with the entire stick. For those who knows me well, I hardly (quite close to never) have any lip products worn other than an occasional lip balm – not a huge fan of sticky lips which makes me feel like I’ve not wiped my lips properly. So it is a milestone for me to have finished using the entire lip crayon which I like because of the lip changing properties based on your body heat/temperature.
But yes, now that I am done with my first lip crayon (finally!), I just had to get ready for backups (Lost in Dinoplatz & Lost in Hawaii) which I am looking forward to start using. Thank you very nice to Ling who helped me get them!
I’m tempted to dye my hair all RED or GOLD, yes, the AH LIAN kind! Plus I’m getting a little tired of my current hairstyle, wished I had the guts to spot a short bob like how it used to be. The only + point about having longer hair would be because it’s pretty fuss free – no styling required and best of all it’s low in maintenance aka can SAVE money! I remember how I had to trim my hair on a monthly basis and each time it’s about $15. Not even including the cost of buying hair wax!
Cut or no cut? Guts or no guts!!
I have been using Burt’s Bee for close to a year and is definitely loving it, but now that it’s almost coming to and end, I’m thinking if I should continue with Burt’s Bee or look for other balms. I have heard good reviews of Kiehl’s, Carmex or go back to my all time favourite Rosebud Salve (the only thing I don’t like is how unhygienic it is to stick my germs filled finger in a tin!!)
What lip balm have you been using these days, care to share?
